What's your go-to drink or snack that gets you through a busy day?
In the morning, I like a chai tea latte and a croissant, and usually around the afternoon I have a cherry Coke Zero and a cookies-and-cream Hershey bar. It really depends on the day.
If you could time travel to any decade, which one would it be?
I would go back to the mid-’80s. I love the fashion, the movies coming out at the time, the music and the overall vibe.
What's one fun fact people would be surprised to learn about you?
In college, I made a short film for a class, and the professor put it in a showcase without telling me. I found out that evening when someone mentioned it to me at a bar.
How does your role support students behind the scenes?
Being the first point of contact means students often share everything with me. It’s my job to explain the next steps and reassure them that things will be okay — we just need to get them in front of the right person. I feel that as long as you are open and honest, that’s the best support you can give a student.
